Medical editions include a copy of the book ($49 value) by Larry Allen, Scripting for Dragon NaturallySpeaking® 9 . This provides needed documentation so that you can learn create voice commands that allow you to more fully utilize NaturallySpeaking. Otherwise, you must rely on on-line help files to decipher how to create the voice commands that make these products powerful.
As the best values, we offer bundles including Dragon NaturallySpeaking Medical software, microphones such as the Philips SpeechMike Pro ($229), the Olympus DS-4000 handheld recorder, one hour free technical support, and a copy of Scripting for Dragon NaturallySpeaking® 8 (a $49 value).
These products are licensed PER USER. Two users, one machine requires two licenses. One user, two machines requires one license.
Looking for several licenses? With 3+ licenses we can sometimes provide lower costs with a ScanSoft Open License Program (OLP). But at the current prices for our products, our prices below will be lower than OLP prices until you are ordering at least 20 licenses. Through its Certified Resellers, Nuance offers a Small Practice Edition which has most of the functions of the Medical edition. Small Practice Edition may not be sold to hospitals, hospital-owned clinics, government agencies, or academic institutions. It does not include Pathology and Radiology language models so should not be bought by pathologists or radiologists.
